ABOUT ME

Junie 'Junsui' Abuton | Create Your Badge

learning is infinite, ignorance never settles a question...... we live... we learn... we survive! self-knowledge is a life long process... how you react will determine how you behave and will affect your decision.

about me??? hmmm........ "my secret??- inner peace. positive thinking. inner calm and happiness. learn to calm your mind, like this "still candle" in the midst of the chaotic world. good thinking makes you beautiful. remember, keep your head up even if we are walking in a world of burdens..............

life is living in truth, peace and honesty regardless of you race, color, beliefs and gender orientation...

WORK like you don't need the money.. LOVE like you've never been hurt... DANCE like nobody's watching... SING like nobody's listening... LIVE like it's Heaven on Earth...

I travel like Rolf Potts !
The World is my Oyster...

PHILOSOPHY

you may never know how much you've impacted someone's life until you are no longer a part of their world.... it's a sad truth....and sometimes being a FRIEND means mastering the art of timing. there is a time of silence, a time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. and a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when its all over. there are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind but keep in mind that letting go isn't the end of the world, its the beginning of a new life.....

God doesn't give you the people you want, He gives you the people you need. To help you, to hurt you, to leave you, to love you and to make you into the person you were meant to be.

Happy people have no hatred in their hearts.... :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i was encouraged by a friend here... and i see it's a nice way to meet people..... my mom is my best inspiration on how to be a good host and how to have a common courtesy as a guest.... i learn to be more adaptable as a guest and as a host....

being on and relative to hospitality industry, i am happy to take people to water parks, aquarium, walking tours, and see the amazing wonders of this city emerging from the sand...

moving on, Dubai is a small city rich in diverse culture and multinational community. my participation in this community is through walking trips that normally starts from the old dubai followed by progressive walk to the new dubai. with the installation of the red and green line metro, it is now accessible for people to connect dubai in history.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first couchsurfing experience was amazing.... i will always give credit to DXB Travel_Bud , who introduced me to this amazing website and to Dale YOST .... the very first guy who hosted me in abu dhabi.... these two amazing people will always leave a mark in my heart....no matter how far i may go.. in my heart you'll always be there....as far as for hosting, I hosted a guy from germany named Peff Hobsen in Dubai and i can say that i have showed my best hospitality in the most convenient way that i can to my very first c/s guest, thank you for coming to dubai and i hope you enjoyed your short trip here in dubai. will miss good memories as always walking around dubai. i hope you felt the "true filipino-hospitality" that we are known for during your stay with me... dubai always welcomes you and goodluck in your future endeavors...Vielen Dank und Sie werden immer mein bester Gast in meinem Herzen sein.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the greatest thing that i have done in my life happens everyday..... couch surfer people are ONE.... we all have one mission... i have always worked with different people and i have always been interested in working in a multicultural environment. being a member to this couch surfing program entails a lot of team work and team spirit and understanding. if one small group of people can be united regardless of cultural barriers... why can't the rest of the world do the same.... this i always consider an achievement when learning is done effectively with a team..... with couch surfers...

Teach, Learn, Share

life's teaching for me goes like this...

Life Is Too Short,
Break The Rules, Forgive Quickly,
Kiss Slowly, Love Truly,
Laugh Uncontrollably,
And Never Regret Anything...That Made You Smile.
Life May Not Be The Party We Hoped For,
But While We're Here, We Should Dance like no one is Watching..
Live like it's Heaven on Earth.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i learn a lot of cultural differences in this community and have opened my mind to so many things.

like any other couchsurfers, i will share my knowledge about life experiences, our culture, traditions and not to mention my delicious filipino food recipe.
