About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotels are just too boring to stay in. Check-in, lock the doors, turn on TV, shower, sleep, wake-up, breakfast, check-out. Are there no stimulus for the brain except the TV?
Interests
I am interested in deep travelling, hiking. I love to sing, most of the time, though I am not really good at it LOL.
I was a language teacher, and I would like to travel around the world. I play football, basketball, badminton and volleyball.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like Country songs, everytime I hear the sound of guitar it just make me feel happy, wish I could play one. However the strings are just too much for me and my tiny little fingers, so I opted to learn Ukulele instead. After months of self-practicing, I am really glad that I can play several songs, not too bad to kill some time.
Shawshank's Redemption is my favourite movie, the persistence and wit are the values I need to learn. Disney & Ghibli Studio are great too.
Roald Dahl & JK Rowling are two authors who I can remember the names. Who else?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel round Taiwan on a motorbike, the trip itself lasted for 14 days, it was very tiring but fun at the same time.
Slept at seaside, got lost in fishing village, taking shower in public restroom for disabled, crossing farms full of chicken manure, rode hundreds of kilometres in a day, camping at -3'C on mountain that is 3500 m above sea level.
I got so tanned after the trip my brother barely recognized me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am good at Mandarin Chinese, I can teach you a lot of Chinese dialects too. I am also learning Japanese, because my uncle resided at Tokyo and I have a cute little cousin there, so I really want to be able to talk to him.
As a Gemini, I am curious to learn almost everything, although usually I will lose interest shortly after LOL
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could talk a lot especially about cultural differences, human evolution, Indonesia's & China's history (my free time is basically spent on watching documentaries related to those), language acquisition (that's what I researched for Postgrad thesis).
I found myself quite good in Microsoft Excel (compared to most of my friends), thank to several colleagues that constantly push my limit to solve their problems.
One or two songs with Ukulele.
Some recipes, maybe. If the spices are available.
