Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet interesting people who can and wants to share their culture while hosting me. I think that the best way to know a place, its history and treasures is living as close as possible the lives of the natives.

While is good visiting and knowing sights, visiting a native favorite's place, shopping with a native, cooking with a native and having dinner with a native family is what I believe to have the best place experience. And, at the same time, of course, share with them my culture and my perceptions about their culture.

That's why I'm here. Not only to have a place to sleep for free (of course this too), but mainly to have a richer experience while visiting place/country/city!

Also, when I'm home alone, I can host people with the same goals and objectives than mine.

Interests

I'm curious about how and the way people lives around the world. Know new cultures fascinate me and makes me a better person in many aspects, it opens even more my open mind.

I'm also interest in haging out with my family and friends. I apreciate a time alone for myself, to think, organize my things, make plans, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kind of musics, with no exception. But what I like most is that ones that are happy and gives you desirability to dance, non stopping. Bag Raiders, Two Door Cinema Club, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce, The XX, Boss in Drama, Hot Chip, Junior Boys, Lo-Fang...

I do not have a favorite movie. If we talk about blockbusters from Hollywood I prefer thrillers. But what I prefer most are the cult ones.

I'm not a good reader, but like movies, I prefer the thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that I've done was volunteer work in a hospital. Always that I can I become a clown and try to make a child smile while he or she are in a bad condition in hospital.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Brazilian culture as it really is. Most of people foreign people have an wrong idea of Brazil, sometimes positive, sometimes negative. I can share some aspects to a better understanding of the way we live. Our problems, our positive things, our happiness...

Also I can share my perception of their culture before and after knowing them/their country.
