Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to be more adventurous than what I already am and stepping out a bit more of my comfort zone. I enjoy learning about a place I visit and integrating into the culture as much as possible, even if I am there for a few days. I believe that there's no better way to do so than with people who live there and could teach me about places to see, food to eat, things to do or not do, and in general things about the place that you normally wouldn't find on textbooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am not sure how amazing this is, but I was a volunteer teacher in China for two years. I was able to learn Chinese, travel a lot of China, and learn about its culture. I am not that AMAZING as Couchsurfing wants me to sound like.

I am an open book and a good listener. I will probably teach something unintentionally, learn a lot due to my curiosity, and share a lot because I like to talk.
