About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently working in a freight forwarding company, trying to travel as much as my bank account let me to. :)

ABOUT ME

Born in Madrid (Alcalá de Henares). I spent my childhood till my 20's in Málaga (Nerja). Then back in Alcalá for studying...and currently working in Madrid.
I love to travel and meet new people and cultures from all over the world.
While traveling (and not) i love to try every kind of dish. You know that saying, "when in Rome, do what the romans do". Exactly that! :) Talking about food, I always try to find the most spicy dish in the country i'm currently traveling at that time.

I know how it feels to be alone in a city you don't know that much. That's why i love to show couchsurfers my town, habits, food, etc...I really like it.

By the way, my favorite place ever is my home town NERJA, a terrenal paradise in the south of spain. Google it and you will fall in love, for sure. :) No discusion! hahahahaha

PHILOSOPHY

Life is like a balance, there are three priorities, enjoy the life, work and keep learning. You need to work and study to enjoy your life at maximum but...don't loose all your life studying or working..only the necessary to enjoy your life much as you want!
If you want something, go for it!, doesn't matter the adversities, if you are patient and do things right, everything has its rewards. :)
I learnt a "saying" in Thailand and i love it "Sanuk, Sabai, Saduak" what means: Be happy, keep calm and be satisfied with all things your life is offering you at the moment. I got that saying under my skin....literally. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunatelly my last couchsurfing experience was back in 2013 while being Erasmus student.
After that i didn't have the chance to offer my "couch" to anybody...always sharing apartment with people that wasn't on the same line of thinking that couchsurfers are... :( But i do got experience.
I've been hosted in Frankfurt with a couchsurfer and that was AWESOME, very nice people, iHe made everything so easy going (it was my first experience) and i learn something so important in my life: what the fuck is Croatia. He opened my mind to this amazing paradise that i've visited already for 3 times including all balkan countries except Montenegro. Thank you Leo!!

I've also hosted a few guys in Strasbourg, the place where i spent my erasmus year and i enjoyed to show them my city. We tried "tarte flambée" and other dishes from Alsace. They discovered "petit france" by my side and i think they enjoyed the days spent in Strasbourg.

I've being hosted lately in Budapest and Prague for 2 days each. Having such a good experience with my hosts in both trips.

Finally, I've been in a few couchsurfing meetings and language exchanges in Madrid while living here up to today.

Interests

- I wana learn how to take stunnishing pictures while traveling but i'm too lazy to start..please help me! haha
- Interested about where to go in any place as a local. Avoiding massive turistic places.
- Starwars / Marvel freak. Yes, guilty. May the force be with you guys!
- Do you want to get my attention? Talk me about local dishes. One really nice gift to me: something from your country to use cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Every kind of music and movies are ok!
From ACDC to Rammstein through Rosalia and El Canto del Loco or The Interrupters.
I can't understand cinema without popcorn. How you dare to do that?
I prefeer historical or biography books , I don't like fiction or stuff like that. Currently reading "21 leasons for the XXI century" by Yuval Noah Harari.

Also lonely planet guides fan. Quite usefull when travelling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking through the black forest in Germany for 100km.
Reach the "princess lagoon" in Railay beach, Thailand. I really was afraid of falling and just die...please check videos of that "climbing" in google..you'lll see!
Night canoeing expedition looking for alligators (and yes we saw them). I felt in love with peruvian amazonas...

Teach, Learn, Share

- Cooking: (i know a few dishes from Perú).
- Languages: spanish as my mother tongue.
