About Me

Hi~ I'm Junki from South Korea. Currently, i'm traveling world with my Gopro camera and running travel vlogging youtube channel. It would be awesome to share my experience with you through Couchsurfing. I really like meeting new friends and talking with them. I really enjoy trying new foods and experiencing new cultures. I'm very curious and inquisite guy. It would be awesome to listen to stories about you, your country and your culture! It's fascinating that i can keep learning lessons and insights from others while traveling. So far, fortunately, i've been able to meet many nice, kind and amazing friends through traveling. I hope we could meet someday and share each other's experience together. Nice to meet you! See you soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Opportunity to stay in Local's house and inteact with them is rarely achievable without Couchsurfing. The meaning of travel to me is not about just watching beautiful scenery and visiting touristic places, but experiencing their own culture ,interacting with locals and listening to their vivid living stories. I hope Couchsurfing could help me out to realize my travel philosophy

Interests

I like traveling and meeting new people. I can learn new insights and get an opportunity of self-reflection from them. It's always enjoyable to exchange each other's thoughts and laugh.

I also like taking a picture. I'm very eager to capture not only a beautiful scenery but also the scene which describes the representative aspects of the country.

First 6months of my journey, i had travelled with my mirorless camera. However, i decided to send my camera back to Korea because i decide to run travel vlogging youtube channel. Video and photography is very different. From time to time, when i walk around foreign cities, i come across the scene which makes me crave for capturing as a photo.. After finishing this journey and going back to Korea, i want to take a bunch of pictures again!

What i really like while traveling is just walking around local regions. Greeting to people in the street, taking a public transportation, trying local foods in local area, having a conversation with them, and listening to their vivid living stories.. How awesome it is!!!

Lastly, i like nature. I prefer to go to deep inside nature. Going inside of great nature is not easy thing, however, it worths. I like riding a bike and hiking. I have climbed the most highest 3 moutains(Hanla, Jiri, Seorak mountains) in Korea. It was tough climbing, but the scenery at summit was really breathtaking. Proud of myself!
