About Me
"When we get home from a travel, home is still the same. But something in our mind has been changed, and that changes everything."
The sentences I've read definitely touched my heart. It’s so true! That’s why I love travel. I used to be an international volunteer, walked through desert, mountains, forest. That is one of my awesome experiences. But, in contrast to those splendid landscapes I’ve seen, the most impressive thing on a trip is the people who I’ve met. It always makes more amazing stories by what we talk, what we experience together.

Hi there!
I just quit my job, and I’d like to have a short term travel during this period of time until I find a new job.
I’ve graduated for two years. I major in Commercial Design, subjects include graphic design, advertising, photography and film. I love aesthetic. Some fancy pics or good design in daily life, no matter products, architecture, posters or a street with unique atmosphere. They make me feel good and excited .
In my spare time, I love painting and share them on community websites. (Here’s instagram of my artwork: https://www.instagram.com/gorijmo/ ) I’m thinking about if someday I could be a freelance illustrator and take my notebook go everywhere, work everywhere.
I could be enthusiastic, but also could be calm. Basically I’m honest and easy-going. Sometimes I join language exchange events, meeting new people from other countries. It feel like I’m traveling in the world even if I still in my hometown. And, If I could help travellers to know more about my culture and make them feel warm and hospitable. That's my pleasure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a friend who I met on my travel in Japan. She also been a host on Couchsurfing with her roommate. Sometimes I stayed with them and had fun with those couch surfers. We had meals together, chilled and watched fancy movies at home. It just like a normal day but that was a really fantastic time.
I prefer in-depth travel, follow the lifestyle what locals do, not just be a tourist browse touring sites. I’m more of a person who likes to go to local secret spots than go to where I could see in guidebook. Couchsurfing is a way to blend in a new place and make new friends from different cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
‣ Cover the eyes and hiking through a mountain for 3 hours
‣ A moment, a decision on impulse, with a girl who I’ve met just for one day, one week for preparing, we headed to Japan without any plan.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m happy to teach you Chinese or speak Chinese with you if you are Chinese learner. I love to do it. I always help my foreign friends to practice. I also love learning new language. It seems to me that speaking local language is a easier way to make more local friends.
I’m glad to share my stories in Japan, China, Thailand or something about Taiwan. We can painting something or do some works together if you are also into art. I can teach you how to draw with watercolours or digital painting in Photoshop.
As this time I travel with my friend who dream to be a makeup artist. We are planning to do something like putting on different makeup based on a theme to be a portfolio. You’re welcome to join our project although it’s a rough idea we are still working on the details.
What else? Yeah! there is still a lots things I could learn from or share with. I found that I always got many things during a chatting. About culture, person’s perspective or their life, they are all new things to me.
