À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
Living in the moment
ABOUT ME
I am from Vietnam. I lived in Finland for 3 years during my undergraduate degree, and have traveled to several places around the world, including in Vietnam, Thailand, several European countries, and some East Coast cities of the US. Currently I am living in Kyoto City for my MBA degree.
I like meeting people from different places and learning about their cultures and experiences.
I have been in Kyoto for nearly a year, and so far it has been a great experience. I really love the city, and I hope that you will too once you visit Kyoto :)
PHILOSOPHY
I always want to live many different lives, but I cannot become any other person, so I try to experience as much as possible.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host people who travel in Kyoto. If I have free time, I can be your guide or companion.
Centres d'intérêt
Going to a new place, seeing new things, getting lost, experiencing unexpected things and exploring the local life are definitely on my top list. I love various types of natural views, from rocky mountains, the immense oceans, the gentle river, the wild fall to peaceful gardens. Sometimes, modern city and architecture makes me feel breath-taking too, but most of the time, I am more into the nature and wild-life.
Reading books, listening to music (pop, rock indie, progressive rock), watching movies, cooking and eating are some other things I would love to spend time when I'm free.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Haruki Murakami, Banana Yoshimoto, and Adachi Mitsuru are my favorite authors. Other books: Gone with the wind, Fountainhead, The Big Short, and more.
Music: various artists depending on moods and situations, but Jason Mraz is my all-time favorite.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
- Riding bicycle against the wind for 40 km near Groningen area. Ended up taking the train near our destination without reaching the place because of coldness and hunger, still it was a memorable experience.
- Sleeping in JFK airport for 24 hours.
- Missed our flight from Okinawa back to Kansai Airport, and decided to extend our trip, buy the ticket at the airport and go to Ishigaki Island for 2 more days. Best decision ever!
- Riding one of the longest roller coaster at Nagashima Spa Land.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can teach you how to cook some Vietnamese dishes, guide you around the city when I have time, and share my experiences on travelling here and there.
I would love to listen to your experiences, of any kind. They are all equally valuable to me.
