Overview
About Me
Nomadic, adventurous, funny, tempestuous, passionate, spontaneous, spunky and unpredictable. I always say..."Don't confuse my personality with my attitude. My personality is who I am. And my attitude depends on who you are." Im totally fun-loving and care free. Anything else, you'll just have to find out for yourself. =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CURRENT MISSION
To conquer the world one continent at a time!
PHILOSOPHY
1. Better late than never.
2.Never apologize for your dreams. If it makes you happy, do it. Life is too short to worry about what others think.
3. Actions speak louder than words. When in doubt, base it on their actions.
4. Try everything once and hope to live another day.
5. Why wait for tomorrow when it isn't promised to you.
6. Live the Life you Imagine.
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a host: Provide a clean and relaxing room. Organize day tours and show them what Iloilo has to offer. Take them to the ocean, hit the beaches, take them to the mountains, introudce them to other local CSers and stuff them silly with good old fashioned Iloilo hospitality (with tons of good food!).
As a Surfer: Be a responsible and gracious guest. Cook them a good Filipino dinner. Promote Iloilo and the Philippines to my hosts and forge new friendships.
Interests
Photography, Painting, Art, Architecture, Laughing out loud, Giving hugs, I also enjoy espressos, frozen yogurts, iced coffee. But most of all...I love, love, LOVE to TRAVEL! So if you like any of the above...chances are we'll get along quite fine. ;)
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Brida, Tales of a Female Nomad, Time Traveller's Wife, Period Novels, Lonely Planet books, Cookbooks and many, many other fictions.
Music: I like different genres. Everything except rap and old country.
Movies: Karmen, Dangerous Beauty, Malena, Gladiator, Elizabeth, Bridget Jones Diary, and tons more
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you to make a few Filipino dishes like adobo, garlic rice, tinola chicken and sinigang.
Learn: I want to learn kitesurfing, base jumping, Free falling from planes into the ocean. I want to learn how to sail and navigate through stars. But most of all, I want to learn how to photograph like a pro. Its my dream to be given an opportunity to study it and become a travel writer & photographer.
Share: I have learned that preconceived notions about other people, other countries and other cultures is useless. You'll be surprised how wrong these notions could be based on what the media portrays. It is best to learn things not from hearsay, but rather from personal encounters and experiences.
