I have lived in Kyoto City for many years.
I could give you some advice for sightseeing.

I traveled all over the world for 6 months.
China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thai, Laos, Myanmar, UAE, Egypt, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, The U.S, Mexico, Cuba.
I knew about Couchsurfing system during this trip.
I really enjoyed this trip, but I couldn't be satisfied. Because I couldn't communicate with local people, place, culture, etc....

These days, Im very miss to foreigners because I have few chances to talk with anybody in English.

I want to learn something from you-language, culture, food, anything. Then I tell them to children because I'm a teacher.
