My name is Junya Okamura. My nationality is Japan, but I'm often told that you seem not to be Japanese, because I have a little bit sharply sculpted face even though I'm pure Japanese.

Now, I'm taking a master of degree in Kyoto University and live in Kyoto. It has been 6 years passed since I moved to Kyoto so I have much information about Kyoto, such as restaurant, cafe, sightseeing spot etc. But , I will graduate from my University and move to Yokohama next April in order to start my job.

I went to Cebu city in Phillipines to study English during December in 2014 and there are many foreigners who speak English in my lab, so I can communicate by using English not fluently but roughly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a plan going to Europe(Munchen,Prague, Vienna, London) this spring. Now I prepared for my trip and found this site. I'm very interested in this concept. It's very helpful for travelers all over the world. I'd like to share information with the friends who have not yet met. What I Can Share with Hosts

I really hope that your travel would be so nice.
So I have to tell something. I think my apartment is too small to host even one person.
If you cannot find any host in Kyoto and you are troublesome, please ask me.
But, if you really want to live in the comfortable house, I think you should ask other persons who can host.
Anyway, I'm familiar with coffee shop and old clothes.So I can provide the information about the shops which even Japanese Kyoto people don't know.
And I know much about the dance music club and pub in Kyoto. If you're interested in them, please contact me. Let's go together.
