About Me
Hello! My name is Chen Junzi. And you can call me Jenny! I'm 20 years old. I come from Beijing, China. Now I'm exchanging in Lyon 3. I study the translation of English. And I'll go back to China in June,2016. I'm outgoing and like to meet new people. So travelling is an important part of my life. I love music too, especially the classic music. I play the bamboo flute and a litte Zither which are both Chinese folk intruments. Also, I like cooking. My parents are cooks, they open a small restaurant in my hometown, Jingzhou. So my cooking skill is good! lol... I often invite my friends to dinner in Lyon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all, it saves money. Lol...Accomodation costs a lot. I like travelling but I am only a student now. Secondly, because I'm a language learner, I'm deeply interested in meeting new people with different cultural background. So we can change our ideas about a lot of interesting things. We could even teach each other our languages! That sounds cool! Last but not least, we could share the food which we are good at!
Interests
I love music, especially classic music. I play the bamboo flute and Zither which are both Chinese folk intruments of long history. I often go to concert if the price is reseaonable. I like cooking too. And of course I cook traditional Chinese food. Cooking always makes me feel tranquil and happy. And travelling is one of my favorites. I went to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary and some cities in France in 2015. In 2016, Paris will be my first destination!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was locked in the bathroom for 27.5 hours. Sounds incredible ? But it's true. It happend in the New Year evening in 2015. That was in a hotel in Prague. I had taken a bath in the afternoon and then I found the lock of the door came off so the door was locked. I knocked the door, the wall, the floor and then kicked them one by one, no one replied. I shouted, sang loudly, cried loudly, no one replied. I pried the door with the clothes hanger, it didn't work. After 27,5 hours being longly in the small room, I calmed down and pried the ventilation opening in the door, got the handle which came off, and then opened the door. From then on, I am sick with hotels. That's also part of the reasons why I appear on Couchsurfing.
