CURRENT MISSION

Off to see the world. Quit my job and got rid of my apartment and am living in my camper since May. I did not make any plans. So currently i wanna enjoy life and meet new and interesting people and places.

ABOUT ME

I am an open minded dude who loves traveling, meeting new people, music, (prepare and consume) good food, arts, every outdoor activity but also just relaxing on my couch on a cold day, dancing, miss spelling words, drinking beer and/or scotch and having a good time while doing so.
I am always up for advantures, call me at 3am and lets go! In my, opinion a good planned night ends where you didnt intend it to end(well there are always exceptions to this rule). I am amazed by the variety of possibilities that are out there. And get energized by a turn of events. Dont get me wrong i am not constantly looking for the next thrill, as a matter of fact the best way to spend your time in my opinion is to chill with good people at a bar having a conversation about everything and nothing. Beer makes me happy! Good food is essencial! And good times are the reason I continue being.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just want people to have a good time when meeting me(hosting me or staying at my place) so that they will gain more trust in the CS project and start hosting more people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since a "young" age I loved the couch! I have had only amazing couch surfing experiences. Couchsurfing is awesome! I had tons of fun and met amazing people! The couch is getting better and better!

Interests

I like to sleep in on cold days. I like hiking, pool, table soccer, inline skating(but not on the streets), walking around and enjoying the atmosphere of places, drinking beer( and other alcoholic beverages and tea), talking with people, the moment you realize you stayed up all night talking, the moment the sun rises on the dance floor, food and spicy food in particular, cooking said food, boxing, swimming, snorkeling, home improvement, painting, karaoke, makrame...

Music, Movies, and Books

Ok movies... lets see... I have pretty simple taste in movies. I like sin city, 300, crank, city of god, lord of war, thank you for smoking!!!, a brokedown melody, spun, the toxic avenger, kung pow, almost every Tarantino and Python movie, brain dead, riki-oh: the story of riki, burn in hell...

Musik is simple. I started out with hip hop and some metal. Later in life I found my love for relaxed music like Jack Johnson or Ben Harper. Recently I got really into electronic music and am enjoying the full spectrum of the genre from midtempo psychedelic to psytrance.

Well I am a slow reader so I haven´t read many books but I have some favorites. Stupid white man, terribly amusing- but in the future without me, pretty much any Stephen King novel, The Time Maschine Did It (my favorite) and all the other John Swartzwelder novels, I hope they serve beer in hell....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled from Brisbane to Cairns with my brother when I was 20. Hitchhiked one month through Japan. Snorkelling with turtles in Kawaii, with sting ray in Jamaika, and 3m manta ray in Thailand. Lived in a van in Portugal for a month. Swam with wales in Tonga! Lived in a car for two months in New Zealand. I have seen the most amazingly beautiful sun set in Australia. The entire sky was blazing red and there was a double rainbow behind me! It was so beautiful it made me cry,

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share everything I know but unfortunately i am not the best teacher. I guess i could teach how to make some german food, how to fish in a restaurant, billard, table soccer, how to make dreadlocks, basic in east european boxing style, SQL, Adobe LiveCycle Designer, makrame (but its really easy to learn, you wouldnt need me XD )....
I would like to learn traditional recipes of food around the world and everything else that is worth knowing!
