ABOUT ME

My name is Jonathan, I'm from Spain and I work as a high school teacher in Harvard (IL) teaching Spanish and Math.
I'm 36 years old, never married and no children. I guess that's why i can spend my whole teacher vacation doing what i like most: riding my bicycle across this beautiful country.
Last year I completed the Route 66 in a month and a week. And this year I'm making a loop to the East Coast.
Apart from that I'm low-maintenance, and I like reading, and other sports like swimming and running. In fact, I'm getting ready for the Ironman in Madison, and hopefully, and eventually (maybe not this year) I'll qualify to Hawaii. Who knows!

I covered the route 66 staying at motels in 2016 and it was so boring and lonely.
Knowing that someone is waiting for you, and being able of sharing the day with nice people is amazing. This way of traveling is wonderful.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Summer of 2011 I rode self supported my bicycle througout the Pyrenees and ended up a journey of about 2000 km looking for the highest mointains. It was trully tough but worthy. Being able of achieving the same hills as the pros, in such a beautiful environment was unforgettable.
