About Me
45 years old but still feeling like 18. Curious about life, people, culture...
I live in Zemst (close to Mechelen) with my husband and I work at a bank. Yes I know bankers are not the most popular people these days..but I do love my job :-)
I love cooking and eating everything and anything...up till now I didn't say no to a dish :-)
My husband is Turkish so we mix everything Belgian and Turkish
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At first I was looking for a place to stay...but I would love to meet people, broaden my horizon.
We're a mixed couple as well, I'm Christian and my husband is a Muslim...It makes me wonder why for some it seems so hard to live together. In my career I have worked and spent time with people from all over the world. Every culture, nation, person, religion,... has soo much to offer and I don't want to limit myself to one side of a story.
Interests
Cooking, reading (I would love more time for that), eating, sightseeing, traveling, meeting up with friends...
I recently picked up biking again...I need some exercise.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big Disney fan, I love any kind of music I'm just not really in to death metal stuff...
I'm currently reading "the hand of Fatima" nice mix of history and action.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I loved going to a wedding in India completely without a plan, just after receiving an invite...it was an experience I will never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
that's a hard one...I'll learn anything that is enriching my life...and I'm willing to share what I have learned.
I can always teach to cook some Belgian food :-)
