ABOUT ME

My name is Jurjen, I'm 31 years old, and I live in the centre of Amsterdam. I really love my city and love to show it to interesting people from all over the world. I play some football and tennis, and ice skating in the winter (I am Dutch, what did you expect...). I enjoy movies and read all kinds of books. I am also always interested in discussing life, politics and all other stuff that either matters or doesn't.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I work 5 days a week, so I cannot always entertain guests, but when its not to busy at the office I try to accommodate couch surfers at my place. When I travel myself I try to couch surf whenever I am in a city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of years ago I couch surfed my way through the United States with three friends of mine. It was such an amazing experience that I got hooked right away. I really like the way couch surfing allows you to meet with locals who can show you their town. I try to do the same when I have people over.
