I'm a Student from Holland and during my studies I discovered the beauty of travelling all around the world. I got the opportunity to do an internship in Wichita, Kansas and decided to make the most out of my visa by travelling all around the US after it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an introvert I generally don't go to random bars or cafes to meet new people. I do however enjoy company and talking to people with different backgrounds.

Interests

My passion is with cars, and Ferrari in particular, but I have a lot of other interests as well. I recently finished a 146 mile cycling tour in Holland in a group of 10. Furthermore as a real Dutchy I am into soccer, and have played it for over 10 years.
I also like to make nice meals which are still easy to make. Examples are really tender chicken without having to cook it on low power for long times, and apple roses using a muffin tin.

Music, Movies, and Books

In general my taste in music, movies and books is very broad.
I am trying to finish the IMDb top 250 on films, and I really enjoy watching them. Since I've been in college I also started reading a lot more, for me it's the best way to calm my mind after a long day before going to sleep. I really enjoyed the Game of Thrones series, but also books like 1984, Sarah's Key and The Rosie Project are among my all-time favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having my first driving lesson in a Ferrari Testarossa. The sheer power that car has was awesome to experience. Especially since I have a passion for Ferrari since I was 5 years old, it was a childhood dream come true.
Since it was my first time driving a car, I was not really fast yet. This meant that other drivers enjoyed it as well, since they can now say they overtook an Ferrari on the highway ;-)
