We´re a couple that loves travelling. We are a woman (Irati) and a man (Jon). We´re basque and we're both high school teachers. Irati studied maths and Jon physics but, tired of so many numbers, he's now studying sociology.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We travelled all over the balkans in summer 2014 using as most couchsurfing as we could and the same with Iran in 2016. It was a really nice experience and we met really interesting people, we now know much better those places thanks to the experience of couchsurfing!

Jon used this site in 2012 to travel to L.A. too.

We both think that travelling is much more exciting and interesting this way. Because travelling is not just sightseeing

Jon: I´m quite a music freak and I can spend hours speaking about that. Noise-rock, pop, or cumbia, why not.

My favourite book may be The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster although i now read more essays than narrative. I adore film directors like David Lynch, Von Trier and many more

Irati: I love literature and poetry and lively music, anything that make me move my hips to the tune is perfect.

Regarding cinema, I like to watch very different genres: from author cinema to adventure films. And I´m a series addict too! (when I have time :( )

We love knowing people who really love what they do, in a real way. It doesn´t matter if it´s dance, music, cinema, sports... passion is the thing
