About Me

I am a traveler and videographer, mainly focused on documenting hiking trails, restaurants, nightlife, and local gems all over the country and eventually the world. I work 6 months out of the year at an ashram holistic institute, in upstate New York, called Omega. I work as a cook, which is another passion of mine. I feel that food is a unifying tool for bridging worlds.

I like playing pool, playing the harmonica, and being social. I am able-bodied, for any work that needs to be done, if any. I enjoy good conversation and can listen to most kind of music. I am a large movie buff and would entertain conversations about mostly any movie.

For physical activities, I enjoy frisbee golf, the gym, basketball, swimming, and jogging. A pet person is how I would also describe myself. I have good luck with animals and usually become friends in very little time. In addition, I have been looking to get into doing stand up comedy, so I have been frequenting comedy clubs throughout the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing.com because I have many friends and colleagues that have recommended this site. I usually tend to search for local hostels or Groupon options. I am hoping to be able to expand my boarding options. I also enjoy meeting new locals and also getting some insight from the residence of the area rather than just the normal platforms (Yelp and TripAdvisor).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books are from the Sherlock Holmes series' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
My favorite music is difficult - I would say I am a lover of good music. That being said I am currently listening to the blues in order to get better at the harmonica, but to be honest I like a wide array.
As a movie buff this becomes tough to narrow down. My favorite movie if I had to choose it would be Pulp Fiction or Wonderland.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing is hard to pinpoint because that is a perspective based question. I would say that the daily random act of kindness and helping friends and strangers, even it be a small act, those small acts are the most amazing things that I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach french-creole, video/photography editing, harmonica.

I could learn anything that someone wants to share with me.
I would like to learn about myself and the master the art coinciding with different individuals

I could share my experience, love, patience, ear, shoulder, and lend a hand.
