Présentation
À propos de moi
I'm originally from Illinois but have moved around the USA for school and my job. I have lived in Michigan, New Mexico, Florida, Pennsylvania and I now reside in Indiana.
I recently quit my shitty insurance job to travel around the U.S. and visit different baseball parks to watch the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs. I played basketball in college but my favorite sport is hockey. I am a bit of a drink snob. I love pale ales, Belgian beers, coffee and ice tea. I'll eat anything besides lima beans.
I come from a big family- I'm one of 4 children but we are also big size wise. I'm 6'6" (2 meters) but I'm just the third largest person in my family. I have 3 nephews and 6 nieces. I have no children and prefer to be the fun uncle.
I really like dogs and cats. I don't think the two are mutually exclusive.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I traveled to Haiti a few years ago with a group of friends to build a playground at a school in honor of one of our good buddies who passed away in a car accident. It was the first complete playground in the entire city of Cap-Haitien (2nd largest city in the country). The difference in standard of living changed my perspective on life forever. It was amazing to see full grown adults swing, slide and use monkey bars for the first time. All of the locals came to use the playground and eventually the kids at the school were allowed after the adults were finished. I realized how generous people who have so little can be compared to the relatively wealthy people of the 1st world.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I know way too much about homeowner's insurance claims regarding policies and coverages. It's not as exciting as it sounds.
I'm well trained in residential construction. I love doing graphic design and am currently designing a board game that I hope to have finished by this summer.
I actually enjoy talking about politics and religion (I'm a liberal non-believer) but respect people's boundaries who do not wish to discuss such topics.
I love learning about the history, culture and geography of different places in the world.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
Right now I am on a shoe string budget as I travel Europe but I am more than willing to buy a bottle of booze or some food as a gift for a host.
I enjoy fixing/building/moving things around the house. I don't do plumbing or electrical though.
I like playing music with people or just listening.
