ABOUT ME

Family: Im originally from a farm in upstate NY. I am from a big family, #2 out of 5 kids. My family grows all sorts of things including mushrooms (not THAT kind :) )

School: I know live in Baltimore MD for law school. I studied international agriculture and rural development for undergrad and traveled to different countries to study agriculture problems. Since then I love to travel.

Work: In between undergrad and law school I lived in NYC, worked a bunch of odd jobs( including working in a design studio and getting my real estate license) and backpacked South America. I have a garden design business in NY that specializes in residential design and floral arrangements.

I like: summer, TRAVELING, being outside, meeting new people, the color green, new socks, seeing new things, creativity, plants, soccer, running...

Why CS: I like to try all kinds of new things and meet new people. I have never done couch surfing before, but I am excited to try it out. I stayed in hostels on my other adventures but I think this might be a better way to experience the culture an interact with people I otherwise would not meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Lifes a dance, you learn as you go. Sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow. Dont worry about what you dont know, life is a dance and you learn as you go.

I just signed up to CS!!! I am hoping to connect with fellow CSers for my trip to Spain and possibly host in the future.

I am really into gardening, farming, sustainable development. I am currently studying law... not quite sure what type of law I will practice though. I don't really follow sports but I enjoy playing them. My interests are all over the place... its hard to summarize them all here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read the NYTimes everday... usually follow Kristoff's articles on world poverty issues. My favorite books are The Beach, The Good Earth, and a Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I dont watch movies very often, but I love old Jim Carrey ones.... they are funny every time I watch them.
