ABOUT ME

Hi, I am currently 27 years old(born 1985) and a PhD-student.
I want to work later in researach and development to help improving technolgical standards.
I am probably one of the most lazy and easygoing persons on this planet in our current time. If i dont like something from the bottom of my heart, I find it hard to concentrate on that thing or to put effort into it. That is why studying unnecessary subjets always was hard for me. I am also very shy and reserved but polite towards new people. For me sometimes it is hard to open up, but usually this state only lasts one hour =) My skills regarding small talk are not very well developed and I might need someone who is more talkative than me during conversations.

PHILOSOPHY

In my search for the meaning of life, I came to the conclusion that actually living in it self is the meaning. We should enjoy life and coexist in peace, trying to further evolve our technological and economical standards, that in a near future all the people on earth can enjoy a life of luxury and peace. This includes preserving and protecting our planet and enhance our environmental understanding.

I am not religous, but I respect anyone who is. As a scientist, it is hard to belive in superstitous appearing things like gods. However I do understand that for most people their religion provides a safe community to rely on and also to discuss events of our time on a spiritual level to help processing them psychologically.

I really hate the war and violent conflicts. I am scared of the possibility of a thermonuclear worldwide destruction, should a politically unstablle country with a lunatic as a leader decide to start a war. The history of my country shows that some unfair treatments and the absence of respect towards people can make the people blind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to help people to learn about the german culture and about my home country. I also want to meet interesting people and learn about their countries to increase my angle of view on the world.
When I have the possibility to host peoples I will do so, but I can also guide people in my city and show them around. When I have some free time and money I want to travel to many countries to meet other couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This far I only participated at some meetings of couchsurfers that came to visit Madrid, where I finished my master thesis, but from the first time I heard of the concept of CS and met so many interesting people, I fell in love with the idea of meeting and helping other people from all around the world to learn about my country.
In Madrid I met so many couchsurfers from all around the globe, from China, Ecuador, Mexiko, Venezuela, USA, Poland, Switzerland.......The list is endless!

Interests

I am interested in sports and digital media.
I am trying to do sport everyday at least for 1 hour.
My favorite sport is mountainbiking, but I also like to train at a gym or do track and field athletics.
If I am exhausted from the sports I enjoy watching movies or playing computer games. If there is a book available I like, I will read the book.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning:
-Want to gain the deepest understanding on the meachanics of the universe including chemistry and theoretical physics to grasps the working principles of matterinteraction and time.
-Want to learn any freestyl dancing moves
-Want to learn how to dance with a partner(like salsa, tango etc)
-Want to learn how to make good cocktails
-Want to improve my skills of the spanish language
-Want to improve my skills of the english language

Teaching:(things I feel confident enough about to teach =))
-I can provide knowledge on basic matter behaviour and interactions and various physical models
-I can help you with the german language up to Intermediate level by talking to you and explaining basic grammatics
-I can teach/help to improve the english language skills to intermediate level
-I can teach the basics of cocktail mixing
-I can teach how to do a shisha
-I can teach a basic understanding on IT and computers
