About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live fully and enjoy food, and moments with friends

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because travelers who are engaged, and like to understand the local culture give me a bit more hope about this world.

Interests

Currently a student(once again) in Sustainable Territorial Development. I worked promoting international education, and it was a neat professional world. It felt more honest. I worked for an international cooperation agency and I saw the real politics of development. Now, I am still drawn to the idea of starting my own project, creating a self-sustainable social for-profit enterprise. I'm curious and like learning. I finished a cooking certification, and I studied Environmental Studies-Sociology, with a lot of theatre, and dance on the side. I am interested in international affairs, global politics, and the intersection between activism, politics and the arts. I like to live in the moment, so I try to enjoy my life as much as possible and have fun. I like cooking, hiking, rock climbing, acting, dancing, rock climbing, cycling, having tea/coffee/yerba mate and a good conversation, reading...and getting lost in new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoy sunsets in different locations. When I was in Hotan, China, there was a lot of sand in the air as it is really close to the desert...the sky was red during the sunset. Then in Montañita, a beach in Ecuador, I saw the sun sink into the Pacific while finishing an afternoon of surfing.

I traveled for three months throughout the American West, and I did a road trip with my best friends from the East to the South to the West.

I traveled by bus from Vancouver to Montreal and from Guatemala to Panama City.
