About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see (& meet!) as much of the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I love trying new things including restaurants, bars, beaches, cities, cultures and people. I spend most of my time with friends hanging out, playing sports (tennis, golf, basketball, softball) and of course enjoy some drinks! I'm also super into music and movies - always willing to check out a concert.

In March 2010 I decided to leave my job and take an entire year to devote to traveling the world. Right now the plan is Europe (March - June 2010), South America (July - Dec 2010) Asia (Jan - May 2010)and Mexico (Oct-Nov 2011)

Now I'm back in the "real world" with a job in Madison, WI. Not nearly as exciting as seeing the world.

PHILOSOPHY

“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.”

-St. Augustine

"You drink that drink! Alcohol has been a social lubricant for thousands of years. What do you think, you're going to sit here tonight and reinvent the wheel?"
-from the film Roger Dodger

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just looking to meet some new people from around the world either on my turf or theirs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did quite a bit of CSing on my "world trip" in Europe, S America, SE Asia and Mexico. Whether I stayed with people or just met up for a drink, my favorite places usually ended up being the ones I had a CS experience.

It was also great to be able to host some CSers while I was at my parent's place in Mexico (fall '11)!
