About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Know Thyself and create a place for people to learn skills to thrive. I am a gentle soul, and appreciate the opportunity to support those who cross my path, on their journey of knowing thy Self. Then you can cut out all the bull's manure and truly express your unique creative genius and soul's purpose.

ABOUT ME

Things I'm interested in: Biodynamic Agriculture, hand illustrated art, nature, permaculture, alternative methods of sur-thriving, meeting special souls (for all you Indigoes out there...you get it), listening to adventurous stories, learning something new each day and finding the beautiful and unique in everything. A memorable soul with a genuine smile from ear to ear and a passion for working with plants, soil and people. I'll light up a fire and do some yoga with candles to cap off the night before I begin my night job: dream work.

PHILOSOPHY

Most things in moderation, some things not at all...
The finger pointing at the moon, is not the moon... (Eastern Philosophical Thought)
All models are wrong, though some might be useful... (G. Box)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By lovingly living, cooking, smiling really big, and sharing in experience. I started with Couchsurfing in 2004, and have only couchsurfed in other people's homes, and have met some amazing souls in the world. NOW, I'm grateful that I can finally be a host in a lovely town called Ericeira, in a very special condo with incredible views.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but amazing so far, and I look forward to connecting with the next soul(s) I meet.

Interests

Riding my bike in the dark when it rains, listening to trees and shrubberies, documentaries, lucid dreaming, mandalas, self-discovery through going beyond my personal comfort zones, sharing genuine time with others and learning to make new foods. I love learning new ways to grow and share food and build community.
I like good organic or biodynamic wine, traditionally made cheeses, walking / hiking to a place to eat some fruit in the sun or shade. I like hearing soul-adventures in this world we're sharing. Fires on the beach, hidden in secret spots that allows the early morning tide to erase all evidence.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life is pretty amazing, so I'll have to go with, "I am." That's the most incredible experience to me. But with that has come: Watching the sun rise over the Colosseum in Rome. Eating sugar cane in the fields of Brasil. Walking barefoot through the mud in the jungles of Peru. Helped pluck and save a man from the ocean at 2 a.m. Had all my $$$ and passport stolen while alone in Bolivia and had the Universe open up and completely support me. The birth of my youngest brother when I was 7, where I was able to cut his umbilical cord. Was present for the last 8 months of my older brother's life, by his side non-stop (except 2 nights), giving him massages, making soups, laughs and sharing tears. Presence for incoming and outgoing life, indescribable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning the perspectives of others: I know less than we can know together. :D
