Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and i try to host, i got space but not too much time. i am working a couple jobs right now like in a copy shop i.e.
but its mind broadening to meet people and id rather spent my time talking exchanging stories or reexploring the city than watching tv or something.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
few. but all of them good.
people can be so nice.
we had many people staying at my last house.
Interests
every city, every human beeing, every materialisation of mother nature is unique and so very interesting. i could not exist without human contact and culture but since i spend most of my time in berlin i like to get out of this vast and swirling place sometimes.
i only got this one life, right?!
- arts
- culture
- photography
- clubbing
- shopping
- tv
- traveling
- socializing
- hiking
- hitchhiking
- parks
Music, Movies, and Books
when i travel for more than a couple weeks i always bring a book and exchange it for another one maybe at a hotel or with somebody i meet. so i get to read unusual stuff i would not have picked up otherwise.
i work at a techno club in berlin but i dont really listen to electronic music at home.
my record collection is vast and ranges from punk, to 60s/70s psychedelic, 80s pop, 90s wave, grunge, oldskool hip hop (run dmc!) to jazz twirls and sideskapades
one of my favorite movies is the seven samurais by kurosawa, i like my movies wierd and touching there has to be this extra thing you know.
if i am working at home i sometimes have a woody allen movie running in the backround for the soothing babble of his neurotic self.
movies i've seen the most would be dogtown boys the documentary cause it has a nice soundtrack and i was too working on a project and had it looped. haha
than again big jarmusch fan,
my vice would be old sci-fi inerlaced with cowboy theme. there are a few but they are just awesome.
my girlfriend hates them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i once ate 15 bananas in a row.
Teach, Learn, Share
I got to kill a chicken in Vietnam. We did everything, plug feathers and so on to then eat it. what a crazy experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
my love for my city. bars, art (!), clubs, haning around parks.
