About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see more places and make some new friends!
ABOUT ME
I'm traditionally a more restless person, but I'm trying to tone it down a notch to enjoy the people and things I have already; all while trying to remain an active and productive person. :) I like to do all of the usual stuff: spend quality time with good people, go out on the town on the weekends, and drink quality ales. Additionally, I like to play music (guitar, keyboard), write computer programs that allow me to write fewer computer programs, and spend time furthering the cause of liberty. And being on Couch Surfing I'm sure it goes without saying, but I love to travel and see new places. :D
PHILOSOPHY
I haven't figured it out entirely, but to this end I try to stay focused on enjoying the great people I have in my life and making the most of my time here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I'm just getting started. I'm looking to travel the West Coast of the US right now, with the help of some fellow Couch Surfers. Once I get back to Boston (where I spent the last two years) I hope to acquire a couch that I can share through this site.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like lots of stuff; less and less particular artists, and more and more just particular songs and albums, but some of my favorite artists include Nada Surf, Patty Griffin, and Josh Rouse.
Books: I mostly read non-fiction stuff... In my current bed-side stack I have the following: The Art of Loving, The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History, Gut Check (some novel my father gave me), The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Mastery of Love, and The Theory of Money and Credit. I love reading stuff from the Austrian economists.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to talk about economics and political philosophy, and I can teach a thing or two about playing music; in computer programming I can offer insight of course, that being my "profession". There are lots of things I'd like to learn... I'll be keen to hear what you like to talk about. :)
