Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

have hosted a few times, but mostly try to meet up with locals in new places

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

walked around in a typhoon in taiwan (i guess it could've been dangerous, but luckily it wasn't. just a lot of rain and wind).
went to law school class (always wondered what they learn there).
attended a Mid-Sommer night's party in Sweden (when the sun practically doesn't set. but didn't dance around the tree though).
survived riding on someone's scooter going 100km/h (though, at some point i just resigned myself to the fact if we hit something i'd die).
got pulled over in china (was sitting in a couchsurfer's car. i didn't know you could actually get pulled over, cause driving is crazy. but apparently you can).
ran after the bus in vancouver (it was late at night, we were uncertain if any more buses were available after going to the night market. luckily, we made it!)

Interests

psychology, philosophy-why we do things, why we think we do things.
plays, literature-i find plays easier, cause then you don't have to remember names and get bogged down in descriptions.
learning-stimulating my mind by learning new things, tring to wrap my head around something different

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think anything is so amazing as now, but on looking back many things seem more amazing than they actually were.
I think the most amazing thing would be seeing earth from space-but I have never done that. I have looked down a mountain side at the rice terraces in Guizhou, China-that was amazing!

I can teach Mandarin, engineering and problem-solving. I can also share what I know about psychology and philosophy.
