ABOUT ME
When I started this profile I was doing my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Now that I've finished it means that I know a little about a lot of things and a lot about almost nothing. I've never liked the idea of specializing and see no reason why I can't study everything from micro-biology to existentialist philosophy and everything in between. Its all connected somehow.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat everyone like you could learn something from them because you can and you will be surprised at the joy it gives you when you do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While my participation in couch surfing has been relatively small, every experience I've had has been a good one. I always tell people about it and I'm always shocked when I meet someone who hasn't heard about it. I think the cs community is a beautiful idea!
Interests
Used book stores and the adventures involved in finding them and of course, used books. I love to dance, especially swing dancing. And I find nothing quite so therapeutic as baking muffins or eating them with frothy lattes in cozy coffee shops.
Also, eating things I've never tried before as well as learning to cook them because food is more than just sustinance, its art, it brings people together, and its one of the best ways to experience a culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite authors are albert camus, chaim potok, franz fanon, and michel de montaigne. I like the feeling you get when you read something that you've thought for so long and haven't been able to put into words. And I always find it sad when I read a book and feel like I'd be such good friends with the author only to find out he or she is dead.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw the sunrise on Mt. Nemrut in Turkey. Although it was the coldest I've ever been the view was spectacular and I'll never forget how the colors of the sun reflected off the faces of the statues on the mountain behind me.
