Overview
About Me
I am a visual artist and multi-instrumental musician and educator living and working in Duluth, Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior. Among many other things, I am a full time volunteer at Nóatún Community Wooden Boat Works working on The Duluth Færing Project. We're building boats with traditional techniques and hand tools and telling stories old and new to help get others outside, on the water, and feeling good!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed for many years, but always through personal connections or word of mouth and not through this network. I travel often for academic conferences, artistic and creative research, and exploring natural areas. I couch surf because it allows me to afford travel and because couch surfing offers amazing opportunities to connect with and learn from people all over the world.
