Overview
About Me
Hello I’m Justin. I recently started looking to travel and hopefully make good friendships along the way. I just moved from Denver where i was living for 7.5 years so I can spend time with distant family and connect more with myself and others.
I was in the Air Force for 5 years before I became a computer engineering student.
I like to practice speaking Chinese (mandarin) with my friends and occasionally Spanish as well. I hope to learn more about other Chinese languages like ‘Chengdunese/Sichuanese’, Cantonese, and Chaoshan-hua.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met some couchsurfers and attended some meetups in Denver and it was a blast. It made me really want to open myself up more and explore what I and others have to offer to each other and the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Working on the first book of the Stormlight Archive, I’ll tell you how it is one of these days. (I read so slowly)
For movies I enjoy thrillers, horror, and movies with good twists.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Chased my friend down on slope on a snowboard until my board started shaking and fearful tears started flowing from my eyes.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love to exchange and learn about language, life experiences, and share teas/coffees.
I’m not at all an expert by any means but my most recent favorite that I was fortunate enough to try was some Panamanian Geisha. Highly recommend if you have the chance.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have no problem doing some cleaning or cooking. I’m just not a Michelin star chef. (sorry)
