Im a full time professor and artist. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to travel the world through my work. I love meeting new people and seeing the real side of cities and countries, not where all the tourists go. I love having drinks, good coffee, and good conversation. I love hearing about other cultures, and perspectives, and enjoy sharing my own. I love all types of food, and will try anything at least once...well almost anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

besides being an artist always on a budget, I prefer to see the world and cultures through the eyes and experiences of locals. I have heard a lot about couch surfing, and during my stay in Japan, I decided to finally go for it, and with a mutual interest of opening my home up as well.

Movies. Anything by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amelie, Micmacs etc..), Wes Anderson (the royal tenenbaums, Life Aquatic, etc..) , Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptations, etc..). Music: My tastes are all over the map, from hip-hop to dance, to rock, hard metal, punk jazz....its all so good!

Books: I love Steppenwolf, Most things by Tom Robbins, I read a lot about contemporary art theory and criticism
