About Me

I'm Justin, a Journalism graduate by profession but works as an advertising and promotions specialist in the Philippines' largest TV network. I often call myself a Manila-born and -raised Cebuano (who grew in PH's capital but has its roots from one of its popular southern provinces, Cebu).

Besides my behind-the-camera career, I do a lot of things like freelance emceeing, serving our parish church as a lector, and writing feature articles, press releases or the like.

I'm also a self-confessed cheapskate who advocates minimalism and green energy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

TRAVEL is the primary reason why I joined this social media. This year I plan to go to a lot of places--be it within my home country or abroad. I'd also like to meet people who shares the same growing passion in travel that I currently have.

Interests

Though I consider myself as a social introvert, it is weird that I still love speaking in public or on the camera. That's why I do freelance emceeing on the side.

I also love taking photos of myself with a scenery behind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Coldplay is my music addiction. I don't watch movies often but among my favorites are "Interstellar" (that really boggled my mind), "My Sister's Keeper" and "Love, Rosie," which recently put me in awe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm... I believe I have done a lot. LOL

But one amazing thing I remember is when I overlooked my flight's itinerary receipt and the "PM" flight I thought was actually an "AM." Foolish, isn't it? This big mistake made me pay a lot of bulks instantly.

Now, I have gotten over and want to become a more careful traveller.
