Overview
About Me
I'm currently finishing up my degree in library science, doing a Fellowship at a little library in Dakar this summer. Before that, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching high school math in Burkina Faso.
I'll try almost anything once - in Burkina, I had fried termites (awesome), caiman (pretty good), and caterpillars (bad aftertaste).
I'm real into talking about books, movies (took a shitton of film theory classes in addition to the math) and music, live and otherwise. Like to talk politics, very lefty for an American.
Also definitely like dancing, throwing a frisbee around, sometimes hiking.
I drink. I don't smoke cigarettes (don't care if you do).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To rebuild the fabric of society, duh. I mean, to meet people and stuff.
New to CS but it seems awesome. I'm down to hang out or get out of your hair, it's all good. I like direct communication about expectations and stuff so we can all be on the same page.
