Overview
About Me
I'm a college student in central Arkansas! Avid learner and traveller, passion for music and connecting with others. Constantly seeking new adventures in life with a mind that is always open to new experiences and a heart that is always open to new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roommate and I are going on a road trip from Seattle back to central Arkansas, and I am so excited for the connections that CS can provide! I thrive off of meeting new people and hearing new stories, and I can't wait to hear all about you and your city. We're planning to spend time in Portland and San Francisco, and this seems like a great chance to become a part of the CS community that I've heard so much about. I couldn't imagine our trip being complete without really connecting with the individuals that make up these great cities, and CS seems to be the perfect opportunity!
Interests
I love petsitting and housesitting for travellers in my college community, but those activities are stationary and solitary. I've become quite comfortable staying in others' homes through these activities, and now I look forward to interacting with new people and discovering their cities at the same time.
I like people, places, and things.

~~~Currently hooked on~~~
Books: The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath) and the MaddAddam trilogy (Margaret Atwood)
Shows: Jessica Jones, Broadchurch, Master of None, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and iZombie (don't knock it 'til you try it!)
Movies: Rewatching Harry Potter and Star Wars
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The past three summers I've volunteered with and helped plan portions of a youth science outreach program through my school, which is a really fun way to connect with children in my community. Science has always been a big part of my life, and I also love the feeling of teaching. As a proud older brother, I love helping children succeed. There are few things better than the look in a child's eyes when they finally understand a difficult new concept, and I am currently toying with the idea of going into education as a career.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking and my food is palatable! I cook a mean vegan curry lentil dish. I'm a fastidious dishwasher, always keep my space clean, and love to chat when conversation is desired! If you have a piano sitting around that needs some attention, I would be happy to play a little ditty or help you learn one yourself.
