I am a science and technology teacher, originally from Texas, currently living in Chicago, IL in the US. I have in 7 US states as well as Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico. I love to travel, explore street and rustic foods, scuba dive and spearfish, among a lot of other things.

Anything sci-fi or fantasy. Pratchett, Dick, Weiss & Hickman, and so on. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy movies, as well. I also enjoy reading speculative fiction and non-fiction accounts of political and environmental issues.

Scuba diving renewed my passion for environmental conservation, education and science all in one go. I can't recommend the experience enough.
