One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After hurricane Irma I organized 40 Veterans from across south Florida to go down for the weekend and help out. We brought truckloads of donations and supplies. I broke them up into 4 man teams and I sent them out to locals that had expressed a need for help. We assisted over 100 families with everything from tarping roofs, cutting down trees and removing wet furnishings that were going to mold to just "being there" and giving them a place to start their long journey to recovery.

Very emotional and impactful event.
