Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not on here for hosting but I am happy to meet up. I enjoy meeting people from around the world and learning about new cultures, sharing stories and discovering amazing new things & ideas. In exchange, I can offer the same. Yet to surf anyone's couch. Well, couch/bed/1980's mattress in the basement.

I particularly love running & playing guitar. Also enjoy learning new things, discovering new places, meeting awesome people, keeping an open mind about most things and backpacking somewhere you have never been before. Health = happiness. It always has. Always will. Eat green vegetables! 😊

Music, Movies, and Books

Obsessed with music - particularly alternative modern rock. Old school/new stuff. My taste is quite diverse. I used to play in a cover band. I miss it dearly. #sadface. Am a big movie buff too. Chances are, if it's popular, I've probably seen it ! (Or i'm about to) Just don't give me any predictable superhero movies. There is only so many times you have tell the story of Spidermen b4 it gets uber old. Quentin Tarantino is where it's at ! Most reading is done online. Haven't read a proper paperback in years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked 50kms on the back of a dude's motorbike to Samae San Island (Thailand) whilst for a fleeting moment thought that I may be taken to the middle of nowhere, robbed, cut into bite size pieces of meat and ended up in a curry somewhere.

I am an Australian native. Born and bred here in Melbourne. If you are looking for some company, a new friend and to create experiences, I can show you around all the cool places, give you some tips and try to make your experience all the more enjoyable whilst showing you the Aussie way of life. When I have travelled in the past, people have done the same to me so I would be happy to return the favour to you. Only thing I would say is just remember that trust & respect is earned. Once it's lost, it can be hard to get back. My other request is that you please don't refer to my country as "Straya" as I'm not much of an advocate for Bogan mentality 😝🔫 If you're all cool with that, then let's hang and have some shrimps on the Barby ! :D
