Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoyed hosting while living in Hawaii. I hosted 20 something people and enjoyed it quite thoroughly. I was very fortunate to visit almost half of my European surfers when I traveled across Europe at the end of 2013.

Due to my travel and personal lifestyle, I like to keep things open for spontaneity. Unfortunately, many of the people I was hoping to surf with in Europe had lives and plans and could not accommodate me.

Therefore due to our schedules and temperaments, my roommate and I will only host last-minute weekend requests.

You may send a message ahead of time to coordinate the possibility of surfing, but in caps for emphasis, WE CANNOT ACCEPT SURFING REQUESTS MORE THAN 3-DAYS IN ADVANCE.

If you'd like to stay with us, follow this process:

1. Write a message in advance to inquire about your dates (optional)
2. Submit a surfing request for no more than 3-days in the future (i.e. submit by Wednesday for weekend stays)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined in 2010 and was very fortunate to be able to host in Hawaii. I've surfed a bit, but not as much as I would have liked to in Europe. Now that I'm in a stable living situation in SF, we're happy to host again.
