PLEASE NOTE: I am no longer located in London - I am now hosting in Thailand. For some reason I keep getting requests to host in London and while I'd love to do so it's a bit difficult for me seeing as I live in Thailand and all.

I'm a New Yorker currently working and living in Thailand. I play guitar, enjoy cooking, and like to steer the conversation away from commonplace towards truely understanding someone else's perspective. There are so many ways to do things in life, I'm a big believer that there are tons of great alternative to the most common approach (e.g. couchsurfing.com!). Also I love to hangout, drink, and create some energy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a relatively new couchersurfting.com-er but not a new couchsurfer. I've hosted friends of friends in New York many a time and moving to a new country means I'm used to making fast friends, and meeting new folks. Right now I'm just hoping to meet cool people, learn something new, and have fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several groups in my London flat and always had a good time chatting with people, helping them understand the city and maybe grabbing a drink with them if they're up for it. As far as toursit traps are concerned I can draw you a map on the back of a cocktail napkin and you can meet up with me later :)

It's all relative man, but I've seen the Aztec Festival de la Muerte celebration in Plaza Hildago of Mexico City, the Hong Kong horse Races, night life in an ancient croatian fort, stood on western edge of American near Big Sur and driven down highway 1 on the californian coast. Those were pretty cool.
