ABOUT ME

A nerd who is looking to hang out with and have intelligent and fun conversations with other nerds. I moved to Steamboat about a year ago and I am having trouble finding people with similar interests so Im a bit of a loaner right now.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, scuba diving and many other activities. Since many of these sports are inherently dangerous it is probably a good idea to go with at least one other person. I just learned how to alpine ski this year and am already bored with it. If I wanted to surround myself with assholes I would have become a Proctologist. With that said, I prefer using skis as snowshoes, just tromping around and camping in the backcountry as opposed to paying to ride a chair lift by myself all day.

I wish that there was a climbing gym in town, I would spend most of my free time in the winter there...

My summer activities will probably be rock climbing and mountain biking this year. So I could use some friends who do those things. I don't race or compete in any events, I climb and ride for fun. I stop frequently and enjoy the view.

I am currently coordinating the GIS efforts for Routt County Riders, working with government agencies and land managers to build some new trails in the next couple of years! So if you are interested in getting involved with all of the trails stuff going on in town let me know.
