About Me

"All that hitchhikin'
All that railroadin'
All that comin' back
to America"

Jack Kerouac - Piers of the Homeless Night

ABOUT ME

I'm a 28 year old Dutch guy currently hitchhiking around the States for half a year. Spending as much time as possible camping and working on getting better at writing.

I love to meet new people, go on adventures and explore new places. I've hitchhiked around Europe and some of the US before and I traveled to the Sea of Japan by bus and train a few years back. I'd love to hear the stories that are important to you. I really enjoyed working as a social science teacher and will get back to it after this adventure. Fancy sharing a beer or a coffee sometime? Want to exchange views on the absurdity of the human condition? Got some dank memes you want to share? Count me in. Oh yeah a couch would also be nice haha.

I primarily speak Dutch and English, but also a bit of German and some really shitty French.

PHILOSOPHY

"We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us."
- Charles Bukowski
