About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm an adventureseeker, always looking to explore new things in life. The world is filled with amazing sights, I am looking to experience as much as I can.
ABOUT ME
Im originally from California, but have moved to Helsinki Finland for a couple years for my Masters degree. I am always up for new adventures and I am looking to see as much as I can while I am on this side of the world. I play beach volleyball, sing and produce reggae music, play guitar, ukulele, surf, snowboard, a little bit of skating and a lot more (so feel free to ask). Also, I am getting more into outdoor backpacking and camping! So fun!
Im the kind of person who goes on a trip and would much rather do things the locals do, find some cool waterfalls, try some amazing food, meet some fun people etc. Not a huge fan of staying in hotels and seeing all the touristy things that millions of others have already seen. A good reason why couchsurfing is so cool!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to live my life to the fullest during this short time on earth. Life is too short to stay in one place and get complacent. I want to get out and see the world
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Im open to letting travelers spend a couple nights at my place. It isnt very big but its a nice cozy place. I don't have a lot of money so I can't fund food, but if my schedule is free, I can show people around. I always love meeting new people and sharing fun stories.
I'm also looking to travel to a bunch of cool places so I myself am looking to be hosted. So far, the next trip is a camping trip in Iceland

classic rock (Led Zepplin, CCR, Queen..)
Hard rock (Avenged Sevenfold, Sabbath, Metallica...)
alternative (Creed...)

Books: Trying to get more into them but I have a tough time concentrating for a long time. Looking to read more. Some good ones: Farenheight 451, Clive Cussler books, I was a fan of the Harry potter books, Im a fan of shakespearian sonnets and poems,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently I did a backpacking trip to the very northernmost tip of Finland with a couple fun Hitch-hikers from Germany and France (as well as my Finnish buds). Drove 14 hours up north and stayed in these abandoned cabins where we Hiked about 5 km through the snow in our snowshoes and sleds carrying our gear to get to them in the Arctic tundra. Saw some northern lights, reindeer, went ice hole fishing, and this was all during New Years Eve so we had a super fun time in the great white north. Plus, it was really fun to meet some fellow adventurers on this trip.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am studying Environmental Ecology so my focus during traveling is to do it as economically and environmentally friendly as possible.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some fun stories and some fun musical nights.
