Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet fellow international travellers with similar interests. Would enjoy meditating/yoga or visiting galleries or walking/hiking/exploring Edinburgh/Scotland. Then an exchange visit perhaps?

Interests

Have visited 35 countries, including a total of a year in India. I cycle, walk, cook, read, meditate and practice yoga. I enjoy spending time with people and am considered a good listener. I've volunteered over 5,000 hours so far. I've got lots of bits of paper (qualifications). I was recently invited to join a samba band. I'm very active in the Green Party. I like trying out new experiences including meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first three times I was in an aeroplane, I jumped out - with a parachute. It was terryfying and exhilarating and amazing.

A few years ago I got bored waiting for a commercial flight to take off as it was sat for ages on the runway. I fell asleep and only woke up when my ears started to pop. :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach mindfulness. I would love to learn more yoga. Would be great for us to cook.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Room space in exchange for cooking would be ideal. People who visit me always say I'm a great host. I'd love to visit some galleries etc.
