About Me

Human rights and animal welfare activist with an ever-changing hair-color[s]. I temporarily stopped my studies in biology to work on my financial and health situations. Best day for me is actually spent home with a book in one hand and a cat in the other, but sometimes i feel the ache to go to a dance party, or the woods, or a thrift shop, or (increasingly often) to the Netherlands.

Other than that i'm pretty much a stay-at-home person that is talkative, supportive, sensitive, who likes safety and comfort. that leads us to another segment, V(read: why i'm couchsurfing)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being relatively poor and not having travelled so much, the idea of staying at someone's house instead of a hostel room with a kazillion beds applies very much to my heart.
Couchsurfing sounds like a more peaceful, person-to-person and cheaper alternative.
Of course there are downsides, like rejection, fear of being muggled, having kidneys stolen, raped, killed, which is also a risk i'm not sure if i would be willing to take otherwise, but right now i am at a cross-point where i am either going to get lucky and find a couch on couchsurfing, or stay one night on the street with my luggage.

So i am giving it a shot and seeing where it takes me :)

I might be able to host a person who is okay to sleep in a queer commune in a basement with lots of cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, it was very cold on a schoolday in winter and i usually have a glove in each pocket of my winter jacket. That day i decided to take a second pair in case i need it. In the locker room i met my friend, we were just the two of us, because as we later found out it was declared extreme situation and we shouldn't have come - lessons got cancelled.

So my friend says hi and then goes on to say that they're anxious to go home immediately after finding shelter in the school building, because they forgot their mittens.

So yes, the magic of me - having special mittens to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chocolates? Vegan snacks? Vintage cards? Non-vintage cards? I can also lead a conversation for a long time, cook and be a shoulder for crying.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Netherlands
