About Me
Well briefly, I've just finished my bachelor degree in biotechnology and currently working on my evil plan where to go next to have a life full of excitement.
For my free time I enjoy doing sports like volleyball, basketball, bouldering or swimming. I really love hiking either in the mountains or forests, swamps, you name it.. hiking! Not too long ago I was actively volunteering as an Erasmus student mentor for the upcoming students in Vilnius University. During my holidays I always try to make a trip somewhere depending on my budget, because I really love traveling (I note: it is very exceptional here on CS)! I haven't been much outside the Europe boarder (yet!), but I've done some backpacking and hitch-hiking. I was also pretty lucky to have a chance to attend some youth exchanges in Turkey and Armenia, as well as a volunteering camp in Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My philosophy of traveling is to see the country through experience. Go hiking, cliff jumping, see a matador show, a play in an ancient open-air amphitheater, end up in a house party or in a small village dancing with grandmas and grandpas. I believe that all of this can be achieved at its best only by the help of locals. At the same time, they are crucial for another part of the the experience - getting to know the people. Learn about their lifestyle, values, philosophy or basically how do they interact. And couchsurfing made all of this to happen much easier. Thanks to them and that's why I love them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In school I participated in a project called "Comenius", where pupils from Spain, Italy, Romania, Poland, Portugal, Turkey came to my school. The aim of the project was to let students to feel the concept of cultural exchange. So it totally changed my life and increased my interest in other cultures, as well as my non-stop desire to travel.
