Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Now enjoying life in Kaohsiung, Taiwan! Taking Chinese study more seriously and preparing for a masters degree in counselling.
ABOUT ME
I am from Winnipeg, Canada and went to university in Toronto. Down to earth kind of guy, relaxed, and and like to share stories :) ) Musician, love to travel, explore and especially meet new people and share cultures. Party sometimes, chill sometimes, laugh, and enjoy!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm open minded and respectful. No one knows for sure why we our here, or what life is, so who says I know anything. The more I travel the more I see that all humans are fundamentally the same, and that personal experience, ideology, and culture go hand in hand to shape the differences. Balance and moderation are key.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had a great time travelling throughout Asia and meeting CS friends from all over. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kind people out there! Now I live in Kaohsiung, so I try to host when I have time~
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great CS experiences in Indonesia (my first CS adventure was there), Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and South Korea :) )
Interests
I like to play guitar and ride bikes (not at the same time). I have a passion for music, movies, languages, computers, and cooking (mmm Korean food). Studying Mandarin is cool and also like to stay in shape and go to the gym and beach!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was an ocean lifeguard for a summer when I was 19 and also rented out sail boats etc. It was a challenging job but an experience I will never forget. It was the first time I met people from all over the world and opened my eyes and mind to everything.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help teach guitar or bass, basic to intermediate Korean, some cooking, anything to do with music production or video editing (that was part of my major in university). I used to be a swim instructor / lifeguard as well. I also know a bit about photography.
