About Me
Hey! I'm a French woman and currently, I am doing an apprenticeship in digital marketing and communication. For my vacations I want to disconnect from work and from any digital devices and connect to people.
I love to meet new people, either during a trip or even here in my hometown. Furthermore, I truly believe that sometimes we can share memorable moments with strangers.
I used to be an au pair in the USA (Virginia) and since then, I love to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I dream to do couchsurfing since a long time now, but I've never dare to do it. As you can see, I am a member since 2015, but now is the good time for me. I definitely want to experience this new way of traveling and meet new people.
The most memorable trips I've had so far was when I was traveling alone : I've met wonderful people and learned a lot about myself but also about life and the beauty of the human kind as well. I want to do this again.
I think that speaking with the locals is the best way to know more about the place I am visiting. More importantly, I can't wait to have long talks about any subject with my host(s). It could be the best memory I could have from my vacation.
Last but not least, I can cook crêpes for my hosts ;) (I'm not the best cooker, but I like to cook for other people)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like action or fiction movies, my favorite one is "Inception".
One of my favorite TV show is a french one named "Nul et Culottés" where 2 guys start their trip naked and without money. Their goal is to go to their destination with the help of other people. They do hitchhiking and people give them clothes or host them for free. I am fascinated to see how beautiful is their trip, they meet wonderful people and share memorable moments with them. I wish I had the guts to do the same !
I really like to read self-improvement books (miracle morning, or things like that).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My au pair trip in the United-States was my first trip all by myself.
I lived in McLean, Virginia, in a host family where I was taking care of 3 children.
During my time as an au pair, I've learn a lot about myself, and improved my English.
I went to places I thought I would never go, like the Bahamas or the Niagara Falls...
I did things I thought I would never do, like swimming with sharks, gambling in Las Vegas...
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach :
Well, that a tough question !
Obviously, I can teach you some French if you want, or some English (but if you don't speak Englais and French, we'll have to speak with... signs!).
I can teach you how to do crochet if you are willing to make a scarf all by yourself ! haha
Learn :
I think we always have something to learn from others
Share :
Spontaneous moments, stories..
What I Can Share with Hosts
Simple moments !
I am not looking for something fancy or "just a free place to stay", not at all !
If I were searching a place to stay, I would go to a hostel! No, I want to share simple moments with my hosts. By that, I mean, simply cook with them, talk with them, laugh with them, know about their daily life, play board games (yes I love to play board games with my friends), etc.
