Overview
About Me
Im a elementary school teacher and I love my job. My principal passion is to travel. Last year, I had the chance to do an internship in Spain in a Lycée Français. It was the first time that I travel more than 2 weeks and I felt in love with traveling. I love the fact that we can meet knew people. I think that the trip could not be the same without all the people that we meet during our journey. I also like the fact that all culture are differents and traveling is the best way to learn about differences and to accept them. Except my love for traveling, im also a sportive girl. I used to be a national swimmer in Canada. I traveled a lot in my country for many swimming competitions. Now that I quit swimming, I coach kids how to swim and I try to give them my passion for that sport.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Im on couchsurfing because I love to travel and to meet new people. I think that the best way to learn about a culture is to live with the people of the same culture. So, couchsurfing allows me to meet new people, to travel more because its less expensive than hostels and hotels and, most important of all, it allows me to learn more about the culture of the country (traditions, food, secret spot, celebrations, etc).
Interests
Im a sportive girl but I also like simply things: a walk on the beach, watching the stars, eating pasta, etc. I could not go on a ''all inclusive trip'' in the south because when I travel, I like to be active: cliffjumping, discovering secret beach, etc.).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 12 years old and I used to swim, I won the 50 meters breastroke at the canadien championship. It took me a long time to realise that I was the Canadian champion of the 50 meter breastroke. I was so happy, I worked hard for that gold medal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, learn share is king of my best quote and you could guess it becauce Im a teacher. I like to think that my profession is to teach kids but its important to realize that they teach me a lot of things at the same time. When I go to school in the morning, I know what I will teach but I cant expect what I will learn, Its a one day job. I love it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share thing about my culture. I live in Quebec, which is the only french province in Canada. The situation is interesting because in Quebec, we have a different culture than the other Canadian provinces. To keep our french territory, the culture has to be very present (food, language, traditions). In Quebec, we call us the« France neighbors » because we speak the same language but the accent and the culture is different. It will be a pleasure to share my culture with my host.
