About Me

Hi! I'm Justine, 20 year old female who loves to travel. I am currently in my 1st year of university studying International Hospitality and Tourism Management in Cardiff Metropolitan University.
I have never hosted yet, seems like no one wants to go to Cardiff, Wales but I am living in a student dorm (I have my own room and toilet but share the kitchen with 7 other people). Don't let that put you off because my flatmates are amazing and i'll be moving in a house with them for 2nd year which by then would be even easier to host as I will get an even bigger room, but for now you'll be sleeping on my floor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Probably heard of this before but something along the lines of meeting new people and getting to know different stories, I especially love listening to people's travel stories, motivates me to pack up and go. I think couchsurfing is an amazing "invention(?)/discovery" I have only couchsurfed once before in Nagoya,Japan and the host gave me an amazing experience and I want to do that to others too. Cardiff isn't the biggest city but probably takes half a day to go around.

Interests

I love travelling so much, it's what I do when my bank allows and even my education revolves around it, did Travel and tourism for college and not doing hosp and tourism management in university. I have not visited that much country but I am hoping to expand my explorations throughout the years. I also like to watching anime, reading manga and one of my biggest hobby is making cosplays and actually performing in the stage. I love to sew, cook and gardening which is very surprising for my age but I find it fun but most important of all I also know how to party and live the moment. If you watch 2 Broke Girls, Shameless US and Brookly Nine-Nine then I think we'll be friends forever.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not the biggest reader which is why I stick to mangas but I have read the 3 hunger games books which is very interesting. Music wise, I don't really have a preference, my playlist ranges from good old classic (The escape - pina colada) to Boy oh boy by diplo and I really like you by carly rae jaepson, as I said I don't have a certain preference of genre, if it sounds good to me then i'll add it on to my playlist except metal (sorry!).
I do love a good adventure/fantasy movies like spiderwick chronicles, harry potter, LOTR, pans labyrinth. I also love watching superhero movies, my favourite being guardians of the galaxy then of course there's avengers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably that 2 month backpacking in Asia, boring I know (we're all travellers here!) But it's certainly the first thing I think of when asked this question as I have made so much memories during that trip and is fuelling me to go to more places!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really have much talent but I can teach you how to build a prop (not that you'll ever use it one day).

What I Can Share with Hosts

How life is in United Kingdom! I'm easy going person and can talk about anything. As mentioned, Cardiff isn't the biggest of cities but it's beautiful and everybody is lovely so definitely can't be missed!
